Deep well water extraction is a common solution for agricultural irrigation, pasture water supply and water projects in remote areas. However, many users only focus on power rating when choosing deep well pumps, while overlooking key factors such as well depth, water level and actual water demand.
At DIFFUL, we believe a well-suited deep well pump system is not merely about pumping water. More importantly, it shall deliver long-term stable operation and full compatibility with actual working conditions.
First of all, confirm the actual well parameters. Many users only provide the total well depth, yet the dynamic water level matters more for pump selection. The water level inside the well will drop during pump operation. Selecting a pump based solely on the static water level may lead to insufficient head.
Apart from well depth, it is necessary to confirm the water delivery height and pipeline distance. After being pumped out of the well, water usually needs to be transported to water storage tanks, water towers or irrigation areas. Therefore, the total head includes not only the well depth, but also the elevation difference on the ground and pipeline pressure loss. Accurate calculation of total head prevents insufficient water output and long-term overloaded operation of equipment.
Secondly, select the proper flow rate according to daily water consumption. Household water supply generally requires a low flow rate, while agricultural irrigation and livestock water demand a much higher water output. Excessively high flow rate will only raise system costs and energy consumption.

For deep well applications, submersible pumps are a better choice than surface pumps. Installed underwater, submersible pumps have no suction lift limitations and run more steadily. Solar powered submersible water pumps have become a mainstream option for water projects in remote regions.
As a professional solar pump manufacturer, DIFFUL prioritizes the overall matching of the entire system rather than individual equipment parameters for deep well projects. Our solar well pump system connects solar panels directly via dedicated controllers, with no additional inverters required. This simplifies the system structure and facilitates later maintenance.
In addition, sediment content and water quality of well water, as well as local sunshine conditions, will affect the long-term operating performance of the system. Providing complete on-site information before project launch is essential for reliable daily operation.
DIFFUL can offer customized solutions for solar water pump for deep well based on diverse working conditions, helping clients build stable and practical water supply systems.
